512th Family,

Dover Air Force Base will begin an incremental base re-opening plan starting Monday, May 18.  For the 512th Airlift Wing, we’re carefully balancing mission needs with safety and individual circumstances in mind. Accordingly, squadron and group leadership will contact the local members who’ve been identified to return to work on base. This means Liberty Wing members should continue working in the same manner as they have been, unless specifically contacted by their leadership. During which time, members can address any unique situations such as childcare and at risk population.

Additional base re-opening information, including new gym and barbershop procedures as well as mask wear and group limitations can be found on our wing website’s COVID-19 page at https://www.512aw.afrc.af.mil/COVID-19/

As we strive to return to a semblance of normalcy, I appreciate your steadfast patience and resilience during these trying times.  Remember, your 512th Family is always here for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your chain of command.
