Dover AFB, USDA turn lights out on Spotted Lanternfly
Lianmarie Colon Torres, U.S. Department of Agriculture plant health safeguard specialist, observes Spotted Lanternflies in a Petri dish at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Aug. 24, 2021. The invasive insect is believed to have made their way from Asia aboard shipping vessels. They attach themselves and lay eggs onto objects, which then causes disbursement around the world.
