September is National Service Dog Month
Veteran Andrew Camplen, at home, welcomes his newborn baby boy, with his service dog, Sebastian, who never leaves his side, winter 2019. After separation from the Air Force and working for the San Antonio police department, Camplen realized that he needed a service dog. Camplen is now the Director of Client Services for the United States Veterans Service Dogs, which was created for and dedicated to helping veterans return to a new “Normal” by training and placing quality service dogs with veterans.
