On Father’s Day June 15, 2014, Caroline Kozak, the daughter of Maureen and Col. Raymond A. Kozak, 512th Airlift Wing commander at Dover Air Force Base, Del., rubs a pencil across her grandfather’s name on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Washington, D.C. Her grandfather was an Air Force fighter pilot, who was shot down over North Vietnam in 1967 and was listed as missing in action until 1976, when he was declared killed in action, body not recovered.
