First Flight

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- 326th Airlift Squadron flew its first C-17 Globemaster III training mission June 5. Crewmembers were Maj. Mark Chagaris, aircraft commander; Lt. Col. Rob Shepherd, 326th AS commander and pilot; Maj. Pedro Ramos, pilot; Capt. Christian Fiore, pilot; Capt. Jason Pennypacker, pilot; and Senior Master Sgt. Tom Vernon, loadmaster. Lt. Col. Craig LaFave and Lt. Col. Louis Patriquin, both C-5 pilots who flew the squadron's last C-5 Galaxy mission, also came along on the maiden flight.
