Cassie Primo, the 10-year-old daughter of Mike Primo, 512th Reserve Pay Office, won the Grand Champion trophy in the female youth division Oct. 24 at the 2009 Region 8 Karate Championship in Lake Harmony, Penn. Cassie finished first in Forms, Weapons and Sparring. Pictured with her are Master John Godwin (left) and Grandmaster Jae Shin. Cassie, who's currently a blue belt, anticipates receiving her black belt in December. She has been involved with martial arts since she was 5 years old. (U.S. Air Force photo)
