Team Dover finishes impressive season
DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Team Dover stands on the turf at Dover High School Oct. 28 where they played against the Derbotibo Beracruz with a resulting score of 2 - 1 in the Liga de futbol de clubs asociados de Delaware (LIFUCAD) soccer championship game. Though Team Dover did not win the title, their overall 55 points for the season provided an impressive 13 wins, three draws and only two losses. "We're extremely motivated to win because we were kind of the laughing-stock last year since the other teams didn't think we belonged in their league," said Bryan 'Skip' Ford, (pictured right) Team Dover coach and a senior master sergeant with the 512th Maintenance Group. "But, this year, we've earned our way up to the top and won a lot of respect from the community." (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman James Bolinger)
