U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Colin McCready, 712th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron maintainer, inspects the wing of a C-17 Globemaster III during the Liberty Eagle Readiness Exercise at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, July 15, 2022. McCready is one of many maintainers from the 512th and 436th airlift wings who worked together during a simulated deployment to a forward operating base, located on Dover AFB, July 11-15, 2022. The purpose of this exercise was to validate both wings' ability to generate, employ and sustain airpower across the world in a contested and degraded operational environment. Liberty Wing ALCF overhauls trailers

Master Sgt. Sean Pyne, 512th Airlift Control Flight loadmaster, drills holes to mount a safe to a trailer floor in the 512th ALCF hangar bay here April 23. To accommodate technology, the 512th ALCF received three new trailers in January as part of an Air Force Reserve Command modernization effort. Functioning as small command and control packages, the trailers are intended for 12-hour operations in austere locations. One of the remodeling changes is space optimization. The new units will have affixed radios and a mounted radio mast. Also, the new trailers boast more power with two new electrical boxes and larger generator. The previously used models will be given to other units throughout the Reserve. This project is expected to continue until July, 2010. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. James Bolinger)
