Fanning issued planning guidance yesterday for the continuation of operations in the absence of available appropriation in a memorandum addressed to all major commands. It addressed the current appropriation expiring at midnight Sept. 30. The memo stated, all employees scheduled to work Tuesday should report to work regardless of whether a continuing resolution has been enacted. If enacted, it will be a normal workday; if not, instructions for initiating a phase-down of activities for nonexcepted personnel will be issued. Twitter updates available at #512FY14.
