The 512th Airlift Wing announced its Dec. 5 - 6 Unit Training Assembly has changed to a virtual format. Wing reservists should not plan on attending in person unless instructed to do so by their squadron's leadership.

"To minimize the risk to our 512th Family, following increased cases of COVID-19 across the country, I've decided to conduct December's UTA as a virtual event, the same as we did for the April and May UTAs," said Col. Greg Haynes, 512th AW commander. "During this time, no one will be placed in a no-pay, no-points status for medical reasons due to their inability to attend the December UTA."

In-person attendance will be approved on a case by case basis through a reservist's chain of command. For those who will be here for the December UTA, the dining facility is scheduled to open at 7:30 a.m., both Saturday and Sunday.

Unit leadership will be responsible for reviewing lodging reservations and submitting confirmations and cancellations to the 512th Memorial Affairs Squadron, as well as informing reservists of their lodging status.

Wing members with questions about their December UTA participation plan, can contact their supervisor.
