Lt. Col. Craig L. La Fave is the new commander of the Air Force Reserve's 326th Airlift Squadron at Dover Air Force Base.

Previous assignment: Chief Pilot, 326th Airlift Squadron

Time in service: 22 years

Commissioning source: Air Force ROTC, Lehigh University

Hobbies: Playing Wii Rock Band with my kids, watching my girls sing and
dance, and running

Why the 326 AS is important to the Air Force mission:  As a C-17 squadron, we are a force-enabler; so, first in-last out of the war zone. Since 2001, my outstanding Airmen have flown nearly 800 combat missions and hauled over 74,000 tons of equipment in support of combat operations.

Goals: Together with our Team Dover partners, continue to effectively prosecute
Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom while growing future Air Force leaders.

Leadership philosophy: Mission first. Take care of your people and have fun doing both.
