Dover Officer's Spouses Club Craft Show coming soon

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- The 25th Annual Dover Officer's Spouses Club Craft Show will be held Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Delaware State Fair Grounds in Harrington.
The event is open to the public with free parking and free shuttle service from the parking areas. Admission to this year's event is $3, and children 12 and under will be admitted free.

"Our craft show is one of the largest in the Delmarva region," said Kim Landis, publicity chair for this year's event. "There will be handcrafted items you can purchase such as quilts, candles, pottery, floral design, jewelry, leather goods, wood creations, personalized items and holiday décor."

The Dover Building will be open for the entire show and a food court featuring local organizations will sell breakfast, lunch and snack items in the Dover Building for the duration of the show, she said.

The craft show is the primary fundraiser for the Dover OSC. Last year, they awarded more than $20,000 in scholarship money to military families and charitable contributions of $10,000 to local, state, national and military non-profit organizations.
