To accommodate technology, the 512th Airlift Control Flight  received three new trailers as part of an Air Force Reserve Command modernization effort here in January. Functioning as small command and control packages, the trailers are intended for 12-hour operations in austere locations. One of the remodeling changes is space optimization. The new units will have affixed radios and a mounted radio mast. Also, the new trailers boast more power with two new electrical boxes and a larger generator. The previously used models will be given to other units throughout the Reserve. This project is expected to continue until July 2010.
