512th Airlift Wing reservists have until July 23 to register their bosses to participate in the unit's annual Employer Appreciation Day Sept. 8.

Wing leaders encourage reservists to invite their civilian employers to this annual event to see what their Citizen Airmen do when on their annual tours and unit training assembly weekends.

The civilian employers will have the opportunity to meet with wing leadership, tour work areas, learn more about C-5 Galaxy and C-17 Globemaster aircraft and experience the 512th AW mission.

The wing has reservists living in a number of different states, so civilian employers from Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware are expected to participate.

Reservists may register their civilian employers for Employer Day using a nomination form found at on the wing website or at the 512th Public Affairs Enterprise Information Management website. The completed registration form may be returned to the Public Affairs staff by email at 512aw.pa@us.af.mil or in person at Bldg. 520, Room 203.

A member of the PA staff will send a confirmation message to reservists and an invitation to their employer. The day's agenda, directions to Dover Air Force Base and other helpful information will also follow.

For more information, call the 512th AW Public Affairs Office at (302) 677-3485.
