Area Defense Counsel has a new home

The Area Defense Counsel has a brand-new office in room 203 of Building 262 on Chad Street. Its old office in Building 263 is vacant and scheduled to be demolished, but despite the construction fence and caution tape, Airmen are still looking for the ADC in the empty building next door.

Chances are, you have seen advertisements for the ADC on unit bulletin boards, but how many of you know who they are and what they do?

“We provide independent legal advice and representation to those facing any sort of adverse proceeding. From counseling to letters of reprimand, non-judicial punishment, discharge and all the way up to general court-martials,” said Capt. Katharina Rienks, Area Defense Counsel. “We also provide legal representation for other administrative matters, like referrals, officer performance reports, enlisted performance reports, medical credentialing actions… We’re a full-service legal defense office.”
