New shorts keep Dover maintenance Airmen cool
Airmen from the 736th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepare a C-17 Globemaster III for take off at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Aug. 4, 2021. According to the modifications of Air Force Instruction 36-2903, maintenance commanders can now authorize Airmen to wear dark blue shorts in place of the Operational Camouflage Pattern trousers when temperatures are expected to meet or exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
