16th Annual Dover AFB ruck march hosted by 436th Security Forces

To commemorate the veterans of the Korean War Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, the 436th Security Forces Squadron is planning its 16th Annual Ruck March.The Ruck March will kick off with an opening ceremony at 0800 on 21 February 2014 at the Landings. T-Shirts will be provided for all participants. Trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams and a plaque for the fastest runner. The competition will be open to all DoD ID card holders, local law enforcement agencies, and local fire fighter departments. Security Forces plans to have members of the local Korean War Veterans Association as our distinguished visitors for the Ruck March. To enter a four person team, please contact Staff Sgt. Medina, Staff Sgt. Faivre, or Staff Sgt. Bechtel at Security Forces, 302-677-5312/6098 or via e-mail at robert.medina.2@us.af.mil, thomas.faivre@us.af.mil, and jesse.bechtel@us.af.mil. Registration booth will allow same day registration, however, teams that register same day may not receive a ruck t-shirt until after the run and will pay an increased fee. We highly recommend teams and personnel to register/pay prior to the date of the Ruck.
