Dover reservists donate to veterans home
Steve Rippy, Home of the Brave house monitor and Air Force veteran of 10 years, thanks Master Sgt. Carrie Huot, 712th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron first sergeant, for donated items the 512th Airlift Wing Human Resources Development Council provided at the donation center in Milford, Del., June 8, 2014. The mission of the Home of the Brave is to reduce homelessness among military veterans. In addition to providing transitional housing, food and security, they assist with employment, counseling services, access to healthcare, transportation and locating affordable housing.
