First cargo load for C-5M Air Force mission
Master Sgt. Erik Appeldoorn (far left), 436th Airlift Wingloadmaster and C-5M crewmember, and Airmen from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., load cargo onto the C-5M during it's first mission, March 28. The crew, consisting of 512th and 436th AW members and Lockheed Martin field service representatives, returned to Dover after a 13-day familiarization and aircraft training mission at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
