Dover AFB hosts U.S. Air Force's top enlisted leader
Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James A. Roy and his wife, Paula, visited Dover Air Force Base, Del., April 12. Chief Master Sgt. John Evalle, 436th Airlift Wing command chief, and his wife, Lori, hosted the visit. While at Dover AFB, Chief Roy and Ms. Roy had breakfast with recently deployed Airmen and their spouses, toured the Center for the Families of the Fallen, had lunch with the Dover Chiefs Group, and held an Enlisted Call. Chief Roy spoke about the deliberate development of Airmen, saying the Air Force must ensure its servicemembers are afforded every opportunity for learning. He cited the importance of off-duty education in forming proficient leadership. (U.S. Air Force photo/Roland Balik)
