The 436th and 512th Airlift Wings Honorary Commanders orientation flight was held Aug. 16, 2010, at Dover Air Force Base, Del. Twenty-four honorary commanders from Delaware law enforcement, education, business, medical and political arenas participated in the event. Since then, more than 500 community leaders have had the chance to participate in the base?s Honorary Commanders Program and have flown in Dover's C-5 Galaxies or C-17s.
