30 years of service

Col. Randal L. Bright, 512th Airlift Wing commander, presents Senior Master Sgt. Rene A. Baldrich, Jr., 712th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, with a pin and certificate in recognition of his 30 years of civilian service to the Air Force. Baldrich is an Air Reserve Technician. He works as civil service employee during the week in the same job he holds as a reservist on unit training assembly weekends. ARTs are the full-time backbone of the unit training program, providing day-to-day leadership, administrative and logistical support, and operational continuity for their units. More than 15 percent of all reservists are ARTs. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt. Marnee A.C. Losurdo)
