Deadline for filing taxes is April 15

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Income tax returns are due April 15, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is up and running at the Legal Office in building 350 to help file active duty, O-4 and below, and retiree refunds for free. The 30 VITA volunteers are trained in the tax laws and all the new changes, including the Affordable Care Act, Qualified Medicaid Payments and many more, with references available if wanted.
