512th Airlift Wing Telework & Virtual UTA Info

The 512th Airlift Wing is doing everything it can to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Air Force reservists and their families, live, work and attend school in this community, and we are committed to doing our part to limit the spread of this virus. 

Telecommuting for the April UTA is authorized for eligible reservists. Members can coordinate telecommute approval through their chain of command. An Air Force Form 40A, Record of Individual Inactive Duty Training, must be completed as well as a Department of Defense Form 2946, Telework Agreement.

The following information outlines some of the training options available for telecommuting reservists. Members must ensure they check with their unit for specific training priorities.

  • EPR/OPR/1206 writing 
  • Travel vouchers
  • Webinars/podcasts/videos specific to job performance and enhancement 
  • Physical fitness 
  • MICT (CAC reader required)
  • Records management (CAC reader required)
  • Upgrade training 
  • Professional development and training 

Disapproved tasks: 

  • PME via correspondence such as Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College. Members already receive points based on course curriculum.
