10/10/2012 - DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Dek.  -- The 512th Airlift Wing will hold a mass enlistment ceremony at about 6:45 p.m. Oct. 13 at Delaware's first professional Mixed Martial Arts event at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino, Dover, Del. The ceremony will take place inside a caged ring before a crowd of MMA fans and friends and family of recruits.

The enlistment ceremony will feature about 15 enlistees, ages 18 to 37 from all over Delaware, joining the Air Force Reserve.

This mass enlistment ceremony is part of a nationwide effort to hold enlistment ceremonies throughout the Air Force Reserve Command in October.

To enhance the 512th AW's event this year, a photo opportunity with the current Ultimate Fighting Championship Lightweight champion Ben Henderson will be available, and he will be signing autographs from 5 to 9 p.m.

The champion is one of many UFC fighters to be featured at Reserve recruiting events around the world.

For a limited time, military members can coordinate a 20 percent discount off the general admission price through the 512th Public Affairs Office at (302) 677-3485.
